Don’t Buy Until You Read: Ford F-150 Trim Levels Explained
The Ford F-150 pick up truck is not only one of the most popular selling trucks in Frederick, MD but it has been the best selling vehicle in the country for over 30 years! The Ford F-150 truck was introduced by Ford in 1948. As the pick-up truck with best in class towing and numerous trim level options, its no wonder that the Ford F-150 is so popular and has been the best selling pick up truck for over 40 years! In 2015, Ford introduced the thirteenth generation of the F-150 series. This generation of F-150 pick-up trucks was based on an all-new platform and also saw the introduction of aluminum body construction, however, the frame is still steel. The introduction of aluminum body panels in 2015 to the Ford F-150 drastically reduces the overall vehicle weight. The tough integrity of the Ford F-150 pick up truck is maintained with a steel frame while the aluminum panels allow a reduction of weight which in turn benefits fuel economy. Whether you need a Ford F-150 that is built Ford tough for a work truck, or a pickup truck that can go off-road, or a luxurious pickup truck with all the bells and whistles that can also tow for outings and adventures- the Ford F-150 trim levels have options for everyone.
