Four low-cost upgrades you must add to your truck
Looking to upgrade your truck without breaking the bank? Check out these four cheap but killer mods that instantly boost your vehicle’s look and function.
Tint
- One of the most common tint requests here at Krietz Customs is the Driver-Passenger window tint, which matches your driver and passenger windows with the factory-tinted rear windows.
- Factory tints to the rear window usually range from 20-25% – Give your vehicle a more unified look with a Driver-Passenger tint for $164.
- Adding a tint band to your windshield is another affordable upgrade, ranging from $50-$60.
Bullet Antenna
- Bullet antennas are not only a subtle way to improve the appearance of your truck, but also a practical upgrade from longer traditional antennas.
- Factory antennas are vulnerable to strong winds, powerful car washes, and low clearances, especially if you’re driving a lifted truck.
- At $35-$50, bullet antennas are affordable and serve as a small but mighty upgrade for your vehicle. In addition, these antennas can be installed easily by consumers by simply twisting off the old antenna and replacing it.
As a 3M Pro Shop, Krietz Customs offers a wide variety of vehicle wraps and tints, PPF, custom interiors, and more!

Bed Cover
- Whether you choose a soft or hard cover, roll-up, or a tri-fold, bed covers offer reliable protection for your belongings and will defend your truck bed from harsh weather conditions.
- Soft bed covers are a cheaper option, ranging from $150-250. Hard covers are slightly more expensive, starting at $299, but bring added durability. All bed covers are unable to be opened unless your truck bed is unlocked.
Leveling Kit
- Leveling kits are a low-level upgrade for your truck that brings the front of the vehicle to the same height as its factory-raised rear. Spacer kits and leveling struts are two affordable options offered by Rough Country. Leveling kits also give you the ability to add larger tires, such as 33″s, and 20×9 or 20×10 wheels to your truck.
- There are four levels of leveling struts: the N3, M1, V2, and Vertex coilovers.
- N3 leveling kits cost around $1000, with the higher-grade kits increasing in price.
