What’s New in 2026?
The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2 is a revamped version of the 2025 model. Features that were only available via upgrade on last year’s ZR2 trim now come standard in 2026. The multi-functional tailgate, technology package, and DSSV suspension are all included in the ZR2 – no need to upgrade.
The Multi-Flex tailgate’s built-in step allows for easy bed access and is one of the most effective of it’s kind, with a folding step system and six possible configurations. The ZR2’s technology package also includes an array of safety systems and interior upgrades. A digital rear camera mirror and a 15-inch heads up display are two headlining features. Lane Keeping Assist and Super Cruise hands-free technology bolster the ZR2’s safety.
Polar White Tricoat and White Sands are two new paint schemes available for the ZR2 in 2026. Polar white is a bolder alternative to the existing Summit White scheme, while the White Sands is more of a desert tone.
Looking Towards 2027…
Now is a great time to save some money on a ZR2, with this year’s model including standard features that would’ve cost you more in 2025. However, Chevrolet has plans to entirely relaunch the ZR2 in 2027, with a completely new exterior and interior look.
