What’s New in 2026?
New Exterior Colors
The 2026 GMC Sierra 3500 Denali is mostly similar to the 2025 model, but one of the major changes is the release of new color options. Tri-coat Glacier White and Coastal Dune are now available, with Thunderstorm gray being discontinued in 2026.
Feature Availability Updates
Several new technology features are now available in 2026. The Heads-Up Display and MultiPro Tailgate, previously only available with trim levels higher than the Denali, are now available as an optional upgrade with the SLT. The tech package for the SLT also includes a digital rear-view mirror and advanced towing features.
Drivetrain Change
This year’s drivetrain change brings a large boost in capability to the Sierra. Two-wheel drive is no longer available across many of GMC’s 2026 models, with 4WD coming standard on the SLE and SLT trims for Sierra 1500, 2500, and 3500 models. The SLE with a chassis cab still offers a 2WD option.

37″ Nitto Ridge Grappler tires and 22×12 TIS wheels round out this Sierra’s aggressive look, alongside a full chrome delete color match, window tints, and 3M vinyl wrap. Aftermarket running boards and a bed cover have also been installed.
