WHAT’s NEW in the 2026 Suburban ?

There are a variety of new additions to the Chevrolet Suburban coming in 2026. Lakeshore Blue and Dark Ash Metallic are two new colors available this year. The headlights and tail lights have also been modernized, now built with a full LED strip and a slightly smoked appearance.

A majority of the updates to this year’s Suburban are inside the vehicle. Inside the High Country, the seats are covered with premium leather, with color options including brown, tan, and the standard black. The interior features are largely customizable allowing the driver to create presets for temperature, seat position, and more.

The High Country’s technology package features upgrades such as an adjustable heads-up display, a digital mirror, and the updated infotainment screen that debuted in 2025. A 12-inch dashboard display sits above the steering wheel. Overhead, hitch, and front cameras supplement the standard 360 and rear views.

There is dual climate control and a separate control panel for the rear seats. the front seats can be heated and cooled, with just a cooling option in the rear. There are USB, USB-C, and 120-volt ports throughout the vehicle, alongside a ten-speaker Bose Centerpoint surround sound system.

Just like the Silverado, the Chevrolet Suburban is set to undergo a complete revamp in 2027.

Krietz Customs BUILD Overview

Chevrolet Suburbans are sold both stock and lifted at Krietz Customs. Although the stock vehicles don’t have added suspension or custom wheels, there’s no shortage of upgrades. The video above features a Suburban with a blacked out grille, mirrors, door handles and badging. Additional elements can be paint matched to the body color, such as the trunk handle and fishtail.

A lifted suburban such as the one pictured on the left takes a bolder stance than its stock counterpart, with a 2″ Rough Country lift kit designed to accommodate for the vehicle’s air ride suspension. Under the lift kit are 22×9.5″ Vossen wheels and 35″ Nitto Recon Grappler A/T tires.
