What’s New in 2026?
While there aren’t any major exterior redesigns on the 2026 F-250’s exterior, there are several new paint options and trim levels available. The Lariat Plus and Platinum Plus are two new trim levels that are slightly above the Lariat and Platinum, respectively. Both of these trims come standard with running boards, alongside several additional technology and feature upgrades. They’re good options for those who are looking to upgrade slightly without the cost of moving up to another trim level.
Argon Blue and Marsh Gray are the new exterior paint options introduced by Ford this year. Argon Blue is a bold metallic shade, and Marsh Gray is a unique brown/gray that has already become a popular choice.

Platinum and FX4 Features
Most of the changes featured on the Platinum F-250 are visible on the interior. Platinum badging on the high-end leather seats, additional tech features, and an emphasis on ride comfort define the interior of the 2026 F-250.
The 2026 F-250 Platinum also comes with the FX4 Off-Road Package. With shock absorbers, skid plates, descent control and more, this package is advertised as something for drivers who are looking for all-terrain capability but may not be in the market for a specialized off-road vehicle.
The impact of the FX4 package is not as significant when paired with aftermarket lift kits, due to the replacement of several factory-installed elements.

Krietz Customs Build Overview
The F-250 featured in the video above has been fully blacked out, and the vehicle’s chrome accents have been color matched to the paint scheme. The grille, Ford emblems and platinum badging, side vents, and tailgate lettering have all been blacked out. The windows are tinted, and the mirror and tail lights have been smoked out to enhance the blackout look. Paint protection film (PPF) and ceramic coating are two great ways to reinforce your truck’s exterior. Not only do they preserve the paint’s color, but they also lessen the impact of debris such as rock chips. PPF and ceramic coating are beneficial additions for any vehicle, but are especially effective with black paint and other darker schemes.
A powder-coated Wicked 4″ Lift kit is the centerpiece of this custom build. The Wicked suspension components are supported by Fox shocks and coil springs. The higher lift allows for 24″ wheels and larger tires. 37″ tires can fit under the lift, but this F-250 has 315/50R24 Nitto Recon Grappler tires. They’re similar to Nitto’s Ridge Grappler but are slightly better suited for 24″ wheels and will result in a smoother ride. 24×12 American Force wheels complete the setup on this 2026 Ford F-250 Platinum.
