The 2026 Bronco comes with high-quality shocks from Bilstein, which are combined with an aftermarket 2.5″ Lift kit from Rough Country. The Bilstein shocks offset the impact on ride quality caused by the aftermarket additions, helping the Bronco retain a smooth ride even after extensive upgrades.

The Heritage Edition’s vintage white wheels and smaller tires have been replaced with 22×12 Fuel wheels and 35″ Fury Country Hunter R/T tires. The Country Hunters are a reliable mid-grade tire that combines all-terrain driving ability with a clean and aggressive road appearance. To fit the larger wheel-and-tire package, the crash bars to the front and rear of the wheel well must be removed. Unlike the Ford F-150, this process does not require any cutting. The bars can be removed by unscrewing a single bolt.

Additional Features

There are several factory features that set the Heritage Edition Bronco apart from other trims. White accents define the vehicle’s exterior, including pinstripes, a hard top roof, and a classic grille with retro red lettering. A white dashboard dominates the interior, which also features colored accents and grab handles with additional white trim.

An array of unique colors are available with the Heritage Edition. Marsh Gray and Desert Sand are two more neutral tones, while Velocity Blue and Ruby Red are metallic tinted shades that are inspired by the Bronco’s 1960’s origins.

The Heritage Edition includes many of the features that are found in all 2026 Bronco trims, including a forward-mounted grab bar to assist with entry and exit, and automatic door locking. The hardtop and doors can also be removed. The Heritage Edition trim costs about $10,000 more than the base model.

The mirrors are mounted to the vehicle body rather than the doors, so aftermarket mirror brackets aren’t necessary when the doors are removed. Other aftermarket upgrades such as bumper exchanges or off-road lighting accessories can enhance the 2026 Bronco’s all-terrain strengths.
